Women' day

The women in Action took part in commemorating the International Women' day.
The Women in Action joined thousands of other women from all walks of life to celebrate the International Women' day 0n 8th March 2011.

The Women marched from Zesco on great east road all the way to the show grounds were various activities were done and the vice president and the minister of gender were at hand to address them.

Official Launch

The Women In Action - Zambia was launched on Saturday 12th February 2011 at the Universal Church cathedral of faith in Lusaka. The minister for Lusaka province was invited as guest of honor and though he did not attend in person his permanent secretary Mr Steven Bwalya was present and delivered a special message on behalf of the minister and the government. The day was a blessing not only for the members of the church but also for the entire Zambia the occasion was featured by all major media in Zambia.
